We undertake
valuations of - Fine Art and Antiques for a variety of purposes.
These include:-
Insurance: For insurance purposes a professionally
compiled inventory and valuation provides the basis for agreement between
the insured party and the insurer. In the event of a claim our documents
may be instrumental in achieving full compensation and/or realising
the full value of investments.
At the
request of clients we are always pleased to liaise directly with their
insurers.
For reasons
of security and confidentiality, client details are treated
with the utmost discretion and valuation records retained anonymously.
Consistent
with the recommendations of both the Police and Insurers we are pleased
to complement valuations with a visible record (either 35mm, digital
or video).
Sale: Requirements for sale valuations vary in purpose
and include family division, willing buyer/willing seller, private
treaty and open market.
Purchase: Requirements for purchase valuations again
vary and may include advice on such variable aspects as quality, type,
investment, the market and/or collections, image/ investment acquisition
programmes.
Tax: The valuation service for Inheritance Tax (Probate)
